cover](/areas/evington-leicester/)[Water in the petrol tank explained](/water-in-petrol-tank/) **4.8** out of 5 ★★★★★ Fuel Fixer, the company behind Misfuel Doctor, holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from [2,190 reviews on Trustpilot](https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.fuelfixer.co.uk), on a profile claimed since 2017. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Evington Leicester. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee now starts at just £89 and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Can I drive with water in the petrol tank?** No. Starting or driving pumps it through the system and can turn a straightforward drain into an expensive repair. Leave the vehicle where it is and call 01295 380724. **How long does the drain take?** About 45 to 90 minutes on site once the technician arrives. Vehicles that were started or driven take longer, because the lines and filter need flushing as well as the tank. **How much does it cost in Evington Leicester?** The call-out is £89–£199 and the drain £199–£1,999, depending on the vehicle, how much wrong fuel is in the tank and whether the engine was started. You get the price on the phone before anyone travels. **Will it have damaged the engine?** Only if it has been run through the system. Caught before starting, it sits in the tank and a drain removes it cleanly. **Does insurance cover it?** Often not. Most car insurance policies exclude misfuelling as standard, though some breakdown policies and optional add-ons include it. Check your own wording. **Do you cover Evington Leicester?** Yes. Mobile technicians attend forecourts, roadsides, homes and workplaces across Evington Leicester, 24 hours a day. ### Who you are dealing with Misfuel Doctor is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
